Facebook’s new AI Mode search is designed to pull its information directly from public posts on the social network. This new feature is powered by Meta’s Muse Spark AI, which generates answers based on the vast amount of data it has processed from Facebook’s public content.
When users conduct a search on Facebook, the “AI Mode” option will be presented alongside familiar search categories such as “People” and “Marketplace.” This integration aims to provide users with AI-driven insights directly within their search experience.
The introduction of AI Mode is part of a broader rollout of new artificial intelligence features by Meta. These advancements aim to enhance user experience and functionality across its platforms. In addition to the AI Mode search, Meta is also introducing other AI-powered tools. These include innovative photo presets that can automatically place sports jerseys onto images of fans, and intelligent suggestions for collage templates, allowing users to create and share content more easily.
