Amazon’s cloud computing division, AWS, is set to establish its initial cloud data centers within Greece. This significant development marks AWS’s expansion into the Greek market with dedicated infrastructure.
The establishment of these new data centers represents a substantial economic commitment to Greece. The investment is projected to generate approximately 2,000 employment opportunities. Furthermore, it is anticipated to draw in an additional one billion euros, equivalent to 1.09 billion U.S. dollars, in fresh investments into the country.
